The Gospel. “A good story of God”

Many say our mission is to spread the gospel of the Bible, and that’s true. But what if we’re missing the chance to spread the gospel of our own walk with God?

I remember the moment God revealed who I was and who I would become. He told me to look up the meaning of my name, saying, “For I knew you before you were born.” In that moment, my name told me everything.

NICOLE:

ARMSTRONG:

That night in 2017, what I discovered left me in awe. I haven’t been able to find that exact revelation again since then.

We often talk about "dying daily" for the Lord, but sometimes these ideas can feel distant, even overwhelming. Yet, after discovering my purpose, God’s task for me was simple: to teach. Specifically, to teach dance.

I remember saying to God, “Alright... but what does that even look like for me?” I don’t remember every detail, but I know that night I found a studio near campus, started a website, a YouTube channel, and a Twitter account. I even made promo videos for my class. I never anticipated what would come from that, and I didn’t tell anyone that God was the one guiding me until the big showcase.

To some, it may have seemed like just a class. But to me, it was an act of obedience. "Dying daily" became a journey of becoming the best teacher I could be, even if it took countless hours of practice. Sacrificing social time to create with God was me giving up a part of myself to serve Him.

Tears fill my eyes as I remember that journey like it was yesterday. There’s so much more to this story, but for now, I believe God wants me to encourage you to start sharing the gospel of your own life. Someone out there needs to hear your walk with God. Maybe it will help them start theirs.

To be continued…
